Cold Laser Therapy
Laser therapy is a treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and help accelerate your healing process. Laser treatment can be used on people suffering from acute and chronic conditions in order to eliminate pain and swelling, increase functionality, and reduce spasms.

CDL DOT Medical Exams
For certain driving jobs like commercial truck driving, a DOT physical is necessary to ensure that you’re physically fit enough to operate the vehicle. Many people put off taking their DOT physical thinking that it will take too much time or that paperwork will be a hassle to complete. We provide quick physicals with a DOT Certified Medical Examiner so that you can get in and get back to your day. We also understand how important it is for a driver to maintain their commercial driver’s license, so you can trust us to be professional and knowledgeable about your needs as a commercial driver.

Nutritional Consultations
Here at Chiropractic Health & Rehabilitation we want to help you on your journey towards health and wellness. Our goal is to help you achieve total health and balance with your body. In order to achieve that goal, we are here to offer specific recommendations on nutritional supplements and healthy food choices to help you maintain a healthy weight.

Spinal Decompression
Spinal decompression is a non-invasive mechanical procedure performed within our office to help alleviate back pain. It involves gently stretching the spine to take pressure off the spinal discs (the cushions that separate the vertebrae in the spine). By relieving this pressure, bulging discs can retract back into place which takes pressure off the nerves in the spine. By decompressing the spine, it permits water, oxygen and other fluids to work their way back into the discs allowing them to heal naturally. Spinal decompression is an excellent option for anyone with chronic back pain who wants to get back to living a pain-free life as quickly as possible.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound therapy is a chiropractic treatment used to help reduce muscle pain and increase range of motion. By using sound waves, we are able to stimulate deep inside the tissue. This minimizes stiffness, swelling, and pain while also promoting circulation, and pain-free movement.

Acupressure
Acupressure is an ancient healing therapy that uses manual manipulation to pressure key points within the body to stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities. This is an excellent treatment option for patients who want the benefits of acupuncture but want a non-invasive, no-needle technique.
It is believed that disease, illness, stress, and other discomforts are caused by a disruption in the body’s energy. Acupressure works similarly to acupuncture where specific acupoints of your body are stimulated to restore proper flow through the energy pathways of your body. With acupressure, no needles are used. Instead, your specialist uses his or her hands and special massage tools to stimulate the acupoints with a gentle yet firm pressure.
Once these pathways are restored, the flow of energy is improved along with the patient’s overall health and wellbeing. Treatment can vary depending on the patient’s condition from several minutes to over an hour, however typical treatment sessions last an average of 20 minutes.
Studies show acupressure can treat a variety of conditions from muscle pain, chronic ailments, addiction, and sinusitis. Other conditions that acupressure can treat but are not limited to include:
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Asthma
- Headaches
- Fatigue
- Arthritis
- Menstrual cramps
- Indigestion
- Injury or trauma
- And more
It is important to speak with your primary care provider before scheduling an appointment as acupressure is not for everyone. If you are unsure of whether this is the right option for you, we encourage you to schedule a consultation and we can discuss your individual needs and goals for treatment. Interferential Current
Interferential muscle stimulation is a form of electrical therapy used to relieve pain, accelerate the healing process, and stimulate deep-lying muscle tissue. This treatment can be beneficial for patients with circulatory and muscular disorders, stiffness of joints, and inflammation.
Benefits of Interferential Muscle Stimulation
- Accelerated Healing
- Improved Circulation
- Pain Relief
- Reduction in Swelling and Inflammation
Some studies have shown that areas of muscle weakness such as the pelvic floor muscles can also be strengthened and stimulated by the use of interferential muscle stimulation.
How does Interferential Muscle Stimulation work?
During treatment, two different frequencies work together to successfully stimulate larger and deeper muscle fibers. These impulses are not painful at all, but some patients do report a slight tingling sensation.
Is Interferential Stimulation like TENS Therapy?
Though the idea is the treatments are similar, interferential muscle stimulation is a deeper form of electric therapy as the frequency is much higher than those released by a TENS unit allowing the energy to reach deeply into the muscles for a better sense of relief.
For patients who are recovering from injuries or experiencing chronic pain and/or discomfort from musculoskeletal conditions, interferential muscle stimulation may be right for you.
